Today Mindy led us through an acrylic pour session. First we did a swiping method and then drew trees or other things onto the canvas with paint. The second pour we did was more of a free for all and some of us layered paint in a cup and did a pour that way and some did other techniques including using a balloon, spoon, bathtub chain, yarn, straws, blow dryer, and other tools to move the paint around. Many saw potential for these to be backgrounds for painting on top of them too! A gallery of all the various projects is below for you to see what we did.
