We will be doing a ‘glue gun’ reprise to close out our meetings. Looking forward to that as I missed Brenda’s first glue gun workshop. Only a few of us left, but we will have a great time.
We finalized the decision on our end-of-season donation amount and we will be supporting the Cobijo again this year, as they are often overlooked and always in need of assistance. We also decided upon tentative dates for 2027: January 16 and March 13. Both are going to be one-day shows to see how that works for January and hopefully avoid any conflict with Cow Plop Bingo or Carne Asada.
We had a small group, only 8, today for the last meeting but after the “business” we started to play:

Doug, ever the rebel, is working on the beach down by beach club.

Kim and Kimmer’s projects are moving along nicely!

Terri and Ruth working on their glue gun pieces.

I missed getting a photo of what Brenda and Olivia were working on so I pulled up some of Brenda’s glue gun work that she had in the recent show. And my (Lisa’s) dragonfly is coming along-ish…
As mentioned previously our summer homework will be our interpretation of a limited palette as used by some of the Masters. It will be quite interesting to see what we all come up with!
Don’t forget to email Terri with things you’ve done over the summer and they will get posted, either by month, or into the summer homework blog post if it is related to that.
Everyone have a safe trip to your other homes and see you in the Fall! Miss you already!
