At our Monday meeting this past week Lynn Cannon made a presentation of the life  Michaelangelo.  It was great.  Then she showed us the painting she had made copying one of his  works. The unusual thing about her painting was that she did it using wine instead of watercolor.  It was wonderful.

This was actually a project we had begun a few years back.  Whoever wanted to take one the the Great Artist Books over the summer and come back with a their rendition of a famous painting by the artist and give a short talk about the artist.
