Here is a color palette to be used for Chinese Brush Painting.
Mid-Yellow or lemon yellow
Gamboge Yellow
Ochre
Carmine or crimson red
Vermilion
Scarlet or cad red
Purple
White
Burnt Sienna
Mineral Blue
Mineral Green or viridian
Sky Blue or ultramarine
Indigo or cobalt blue
Chinese white
First make a color grid. Paint a dot of each different yellow down the side of the page, and a dot of each blue and green along the top. Mix each pair of colors and paint a dot in the relevant place on the grid. This is to give you an idea of how these colors mix with each other.
