We finalized planning for the show coming up on March 21st at the Tecalai Clubhouse building. Then we had Open Studio.
Quite a few items were brought for show and share, and many of them were from Glue Gun last week.

Brenda did a few more (left photo), awesome sunburst and seahorse! I think this may have been Cindy’s practice Poppies (centre), and Lisa (centre) was busy getting ready for the show on the 21st so didn’t do anything further on her dragonfly. On the right we have Olivia’s florals (left side) and on the right is ______,both of which turned out great!

Karen was busy this past week. The piece on the left is of Jay’s patio and she painted it for him. On the right she’s continued to play with granulation! I don’t think there is a thing that Jay can complain about with his new piece!

I can’t remember who did the poppies with a black background, but it looks pretty cool! Janet finished her glue gun palm tree and added a couple clay monkeys she did at Deportivo. And Doug (right) brought a palette knife piece for us to see. Awesome work!

Jay brought three small pieces done by _____ in Encaustic using actual crayons, I believe these will be in the show. Then he showed us this cutting board that was a piece of driftwood that he picked out of the water years ago and thought the top looked like an Orca, so he carved it out some more with a jigsaw and added resin at the top to represent water. And on the right is a painting that Olivia gifted to Janet!

I didn’t get very many pictures of open studio work as I was busy soldering pieces for the upcoming show. I missed getting an update photo of Terri’s relief piece of Chica (her pupper) and from those further down the table. If any of you wish to have the piece you worked on on Monday, March 16th please send them by email to Terri, or bring them on Monday, March 23rd and I’ll photo them then!
I think I mentioned it a time or two, but we have our last show of the season on Saturday, March 21st at Tecalai from 9:00 to 3:00. Don’t miss out!
