Lisa led us through a One Stroke painting session. Some that had participated in the class a couple years ago were not looking forward to it because they had trouble grasping the different way you move the brush when doing one stroke strokes. Happy to report that some of them “got it” this time and were much happier with their results.
Before posting photos of the One Stroke class have a look at these pieces that members brought in today or sent a photo to Terri this past week. Great work!

A portrait that Wayne did and a Clay Tile that Olivia did for a commission. Great work both of you!

Owl with Zentangled Cacti in acrylic and pen, and Raven with Alcohol Ink background, both by Kimmer.
Today, Kimmer also brought in these three collage pieces on the right, and here’s a group shot of the Owl and Raven pictured above:

Lisa also showed us her progress on a stained glass window for a door. Only the bottom two rows are complete so far, but it’s coming along nicely:

Here are a few photos of the One Stroke session this week:

Next week we get to work with beach glass, shells, corks and lots of other fun stuff to do small shadow box scenes. Looking forward to it!
