Today Doug led us through a palette knife exercise in acrylic paint. The subject matter is a scene from Banff National Park in Alberta. Many of our pieces ended up being much more abstract than the original, but it was fun to explore a different method of applying paint to a canvas. Thanks to Doug for the demo and instruction for this exercise!

These last two photos are of a water scene that Ben did recently and Lynn’s Frida that she used Cats in instead of the Monkeys! Both great pieces.
Next week, December 30th, we plan to have a demo from Olivia in Pastels. Always a fun time when Olivia does a session!
