Today Olivia lead us through a session with charcoal. She started with a face and then moved on to a few other items so we could see examples of how to use charcoal to draw and shade and also incorporate white and gray charcoal to add highlights. It was a fun time and a few of us got pretty dirty! Next week the group will be going back to drawing basics with some members modelling for 30 second, 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute sessions.
